
Dr. Morrison
A native of the Boston, MA area, Dr. Morrison returned to New England with his wife and two children to join Maine Neurology in July 2008. His practice includes general pediatric and young adult neurology with a special focus on adult and pediatric epilepsy. In addition, Dr. Morrison is part of Maine Neurologys collaborative effort with Maine Medical Center to establish a comprehensive epilepsy center.
Dr. Morrison graduated with honors from Grinnell College in Iowa with a BA in biology. He then attended medical school at Albany Medical College, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Morrison completed both his general pediatric residency and pediatric neurology training at UCLA. Following this, he spent two years at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD for additional fellowship training in epilepsy. Dr. Morrison has published several peer reviewed journal articles, co-authored book chapters on epilepsy, and presented at national neurology and epilepsy meetings. He finds caring for and educating patients and their families with neurological illness particularly rewarding. Dr. Morrison is Board-eligible in Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Neurology, and Clinical Neurophysiology.
