Heidi L. Henninger, M.D.   Neurology

Dr. Henninger's specialties include epilepsy, evaluation for epilepsy surgery, including vagal nerve stimulator implants, and women's issues in epilepsy.

 

She treats both adults and children age three or older with epilepsy. Dr. Henninger graduated summa cum laude from University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Neurobiology in 1987. She graduated from the University of California at San Francisco with her medical degree and honors thesis in 1993. She completed her medical internship, and her residency training in Neurology, at Yale University School of Medicine, where she held the position of administrative chief resident in 1997-1998. Dr. Henninger went on to complete two years of postdoctoral fellowship training in Epilepsy at Yale University School of Medicine.
